This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 30, 2007:

Pretending.  I can't remember the last time I pretended something.  I'm no longer a mountain climber, a dirt bike racer, a fireman, a pirate or an evil scientist.  I no longer live in a cave, a tree, a mansion, a space station or under the sea.  I don't have super powers and I can't perform magic.

I'm just me... a regular adult... and I've forgotten how to pretend.

I wonder if at that point of forgetting-to-pretend we can finally see the true vistas of life and all their possibilities. It seems it has worked that way for me.
